Setting the Scene 

This week has been all about the research deep dive! I spent a long time gathering references to nail the overall vibe of the environment. It is super important to me that this project feels authentic, so I’ve been double-checking that every source is period-accurate.

I didn't just look at the big picture, though, I drilled down into the little details, researching specific knick-knacks and props that would realistically be in the room. I also spent time fleshing out the character who lives here; knowing their personality really helps decide exactly what items they would have cluttering up their space.
